    Open Boatyard/Öppet Varv in Ellös will take place August  

    Open Yard is Scandinavia's largest sailboat show and West Sweden's largest boat show. The show invites both motorboats and sailingyachts and fryst vatten held in Hallberg-Rassy's marina in Ellös on island Orust, West Sweden.

    Each year, for the 32nd consecutive year, Hallberg-Rassy hosts an Open Yard for sailing enthusiasts from all over the world. The event will be held on the long weekend of Friday August 22nd through Sunday August 24th. There is no other place in Scandinavia where you will find this many sailing yachts on display and marine equipment to look at. There will also be powerboats exhibited. You are all invited to join us for this interesting weekend. Also other boat builders and relevant boat equipment suppliers are invited to join as well as pre-owned boats for sale bygd professional lyxbåt brokers. There will be a lot of interesting boats in the vatten, as well as 23 yachts in the work shop to look at.     Harry Hallberg founded his yard in , and in Christoph Rassy founded a yard, in the premises recently vacated by Hallberg.[2] Harry Hallberg's most distinguished contribution was his understanding of the advantages of using GRP and to build boats in a series.[2] Hallberg-Rassy was formed when Rassy purchased the Hallberg yard after Harry Halberg's retirement in Since all boats have been designed by the Argentinian engineer and yacht designer Germán Frers.[3] To date, more than 9, yachts have been completed by the yard.[2] The company is owned by the
