    The STIGA Group head office is located in Veneto, northern Italy. The office is surrounded by greenery in the beautiful walled town.

    More than people from all over the world work at The STIGA Group HQ. Team members in the following departments are based here: research and development, purchasing, HR, administration, lawnmower production, marketing, sales, logistics, aftersales and customer service.

    The Italian division also has offices in Castelfranco. This office is located a few kilometres from Venice, Padua and Treviso. It is close to two international airports and well connected to the main cities of northern Italy through trains and bus routes.

    Stiga är en svenskt varumärke som existerar känt till gräsklippare, bordtennisprodukter, bordshockeyspel samt Snowracer. Såväl lek- samt sportprodukter likt trädgårdsmaskiner går under namnet.

    bröts Stiga Table Tennis ut ur företaget och även Stiga lek. De verkar fortfarande beneath samma varumärke men existerar två olika företag, Stiga Sports AB och Stiga Group (tidigare kallat GGP Group).

    Stiga startades som ett import- samt grossistfirma från Stig Hjelmquist i Tranås. Bolaget sålde campingprodukter samt luftgevär. startade Stiga tillverkning av bordtennisprodukter. startade Stiga tillverkning från bordshockeyspel vilket blev ett stor succé. startade bolaget tillverkning från motorgräsklippare.

    lanserades den första Snowracern. byggdes ett ny fabrik i Tranås. Denna fanns vid uppförandet Nordens största (29&#; m²) gräsklipparfabrik samt invigdes från kung Carl XVI Gustaf. förvärvades Belos Tractor AB. såldes Stigas bordtennis-verksamhet mot Bengt Bandstigen (Andersson) varpå företaget Sweden Table Tennis AB tillsammans med Bandstigens befintlig märke Banda bildades.[1]

    StigaGroup (formerly GGP Spa) is a European manufacturer and distributor of lawnmowers and a wide range of motorized garden tools. It is headquartered in Castelfranco Veneto (Italy). Stiga has 13 subsidiaries in Europe (Austria, Italy, Benelux, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Norway, Poland, Sweden, UK). Stiga distributes and sells its products in over 70 countries around the world.

    Stiga was originally a Swedish brand known for the production and distribution of lawnmowers, a wide range of motorized garden tools, snowmakers, and table tennis products and table hockey games. In the year , Stiga was acquired by Castelgarden SpA via a merger with Alpina Professional & Garden SpA, both located in Italy. The company's expansion in Europe continued with the acquisition of Mountfield. Together they formed Global Garden Products (GGP) Group and it was renamed to Stiga Group.[1]
